There are roughly 10.89 million single-parent families in the United States, and single mothers head 80% of those families. Of that 80% of female-led single-parent households, 31% of them are living in poverty. Sun Prairie alone has over 180 homeless children enrolled in our school district.
Over 92% of homeless mothers have experienced severe physical and or sexual abuse over their lifetimes.
Our organization strives to break the cycle of generational poverty and homelessness for the modern-day widows and orphans that we serve. We support our residents by giving them a hand-up instead of a handout. We walk alongside our residents, teaching them the skills to establish healthy flourishing.
We provide a safe place for a fresh start for our residents and their families. We aim to work hand in hand with our residents to help them break down barriers to finding lasting employment and permanent housing that will fit their families' needs.
By joining the One Family Campaign, your monthly support will help a local homeless family in need. A gift of $65 per month will cover the cost of ONE FAMILY for a whole day.
